Optima Signature’s amenity terrace sits on the building’s 7th and 8th floors, the shared outdoor level for residents rather than a space at the very top of the tower. By evening, the pool lighting gives way to the glow of the fire pits, and the terrace shifts from a place to swim to a place to cook dinner and stay outside a while longer.

Fire Pits and Grills Spread Across the Terrace

Rather than building a single central gathering point, Optima Signature‘s terrace spreads its fire pits and grills across its footprint, each paired with its own lounge seating. A resident can grill dinner and settle into a quiet corner for two, or a fire pit large enough for a group, all within reach of the indoor and outdoor heated pools, loungers, cabanas, and whirlpool spas that round out the terrace.

Club 52, High Above the Terrace

On the 52nd floor, Club 52 adds a private amenity level with its own rooftop terrace and alfresco kitchen, a separate evening space from the terrace below. The same floor holds an indoor lounge and wine lockers, so an evening there can move inside or out depending on the night and who’s hosting. Access is reserved for residents in the building’s Apex collection, which makes Club 52 less of a shared amenity and more of an extension of those residences themselves.

The Terrace After Dark

Once the sun sets over Lake Michigan, the terrace’s identity shifts from pool deck to fire pit lounge, and the shift takes no effort on the resident’s part. Towel service and a heated indoor pool keep the space in daily use, so the terrace reads less like a seasonal feature and more like a room that happens to be outside.
